“Personally, I look for the ability to convey a certain emotion within a record. Rather than something just being new. I hear old records that really frighten me. But then I look back on some of the stuff I was into when I was 20 years old, some of which was a bit close to the knuckle. I think perhaps as you get older, what you want from music changes, and your taste becomes a bit more refined.”

'We are the dreamers'…take a listen to a track I produced for the recent Klaxons album titled ‘The Dreamers’. The recording process was pretty interesting as the entire backing track (apart from the vocals) was recorded either twice as fast or twice as slow, and then vari sped back to its original tempo, so it felt lucid as if you were coming out of a dream.
